Production Shift Manager
As a Production Shift Manager, it can be easy to get stuck in the status quo, especially if you have worked for the same business for a long time. I am currently working with a well-known food manufacturer who are looking to hire a continuous improvement and people-focused Shift Manager to join their site in Suffolk. As Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading your team to achieve all performance and profit targets set by the business. You must drive operational excellence, quality and consistency across all products, processes and people. This is a Monday - Friday role however some weekend work may be required during peak periods. You will be overseeing a large team and liaising with different departments on a daily basis, so strong communication skills is essential.
To be considered for this role you must have experience working at a Production Shift Manager level within the food manufacturing industry. Chilled or short shelf-life experience is advantageous. You must hold a Level 3 Health & Safety qualification as well as having a strong understanding of HACCP. You must also have a strong knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques.
