Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and as part of the Shift Engineering Team, the Shift Maintenance Engineer plays a key role within the department, responsible for the proactive development and delivery of all site engineering functions at a large food production plant. As the Shift Engineer, you will be expected to support and work closely with production to deliver business results ensuring all PMs are completed punctually. Monitoring ongoing plant performance improvement, the role will also include maintaining high standards of safety, continuous improvement and people development. Responding to breakdowns, recording downtime and handing over information onto the next shift.
You must have recent food OR FMCG experience, minimum level 3 Mechanically qualified, good communicator at all levels. Experience with food processing and packaging machinery.
