Health & Safety Manager Food Industry Up to circa £42,000 Somerset A leading food manufacturing organisation is seeking a Health and Safety professional to spearhead improvements across their manufacturing facility. Within this challenging and fast paced role you will report into the Operations Director and be responsible for driving the H&S agenda across the site. A key task will be the reduction of health and safety risks through monitoring and implementing new initiatives, whilst ensuring that all levels of the business take greater accountability for H&S within their roles. It will also be necessary to play an instrumental part in the design and delivery of appropriate training to promote good standards in HSE, whilst ensuring that all levels of the business take greater accountability for H&S within their roles. To be considered for this role you will be an existing Health & Safety / H&S Manager, ideally holding a NEBOSH Diploma and have previous experience from within the food industry which is a pre-requisite. A forward thinking individual you will be able to initiate and implement new policies and procedures and have a tenacious and determined personality. A self starter with a genuine desire to succeed you will be an effortless communicator across all levels.
