Supply Chain Manager
A great opportunity has arisen to work as a Supply Chain Manager for one of the best food manufacturers in the Hertfordshire/Gloucestershire area. ideally you will have previously or are currently working as a Supply Chain Manager and have knowledge of food/drinks as well as experience of sourcing products from outside of the UK.
The main responsibilities of the role will be:
- Manage the costs involved while maintaining the quality of service
- Improve the overall supply chain performance
- Take control of the warehouse supply chain and other areas of the logistics operation
- You will oversea the sourcing of raw materials
- You will find ways to implement new technologies and stay alert to new trends
The ideal candidate for this job will:
- Have a HACCP qualification and or food related degree
- Have previous experience of working as a Supply Chain Manager
- Have experience of working in the food or drinks industry
