Their range of high quality products can been seen in all major supermarkets. They are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the engineering department.
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, your main responsibilities will include rapid response to breakdowns, carrying out PPM (planned preventative maintenance) on various machinery including conveyors, fillers and labellers. In addition to this, you will be directly involved with various continuous improvement procedures and new projects making this a very beneficial career decision with the potential for valuable experience and skills to be obtained.
A successful candidate must have qualification in engineering (either mechanical or electrical) and it would be advantageous if they had experience of working in a FMCG or Food environment. Due to the nature of the job knowledge of pnuematics, hydraulics, bearings, gearboxes and welding is essential.
Your attitude is vital to be successful in the application process. You will be highly organised, self-motivated with good time management skills. You will be working part of a small, but growing team on shift therefore good communication skills are needed to achieve the goals of the business.
